The Albertlanders travelled to New Zealand in the 1860’s from England with the hope of finding a better life for themselves and their families in New Zealand. The publication series focuses on a piece of New Zealand history that relates to many European descendants, and explains the strength and willpower these people had. The use of expressive typography and other design elements help tell a more personal story that history books don’t capture.
